During the initial configuration of Okta, you set up your personal email address. If you ever forget your Okta password (which is directly linked to your computer password), you can reset this automatically, without having to call the MSRI IT department. Here's how:

  1. When your sign-on attempts fail, click "Need help signing on" below the "Sign In" button:

2. Click "Forgot password". 

3. An email will be send to your personal email provided during setup. 

4. Click the "Reset Password" link in the email, and you will be able to set the password.
